The Holiday Gift Show is a favorite Rowayton tradition. The art center’s gallery is filled with the work of the region’s best artisans. You’ll find one of a kind, creative presents for everyone on your list. Hours (November 27 to December 24) are: Tuesday through Friday (Noon-5pm), Saturday (10am – 5pm), Sunday (Noon-5pm). Closed Mondays – except the Monday before Christmas. Closed Thanksgiving. *Open until 7pm for the “Light Up Rowayton” festivities on Sunday, November 25 – an evening you don’t want to miss!
While you’re there, have a look at the sensational 6” x6’’ panels painted, embellished and creatively designed by RAC artists. Priced at $45, these original works of art won’t last long. Proceeds from the Holiday Gift Show are used to support the Art Center and its educational outreach projects.
For almost 60 years, the Rowayton Arts Center has been a cultural gem. It is an exceptional gallery where regional artists can exhibit and sell their art, as well as being a wonderful venue for art workshops and classes. The Art School offers classes to children and adults at all levels. The RAC Gallery and Art School are located on the bank of the scenic Five Mile River in Rowayton, CT at 145 Rowayton Avenue.
