Megan Garbe is an artist from Fairfield, Connecticut. In 2010 she graduated from Salve Regina University with a BA in Studio Art and a concentration in painting. She works primarily with oil paint on canvas, as well as pen and gouache. Her subject matter typically includes animals. Garbe has exhibited throughout Connecticut including, Rowayton Arts Center, Ridgefield Guild of Artists and Picture This/Nylen Gallery. Garbe is an exhibiting member at Rowayton Arts Center as well as a member of Ridgefield Guild of Artists and the Cultural Alliance of Fairfield County. She recently received Best in Show for her painting, “Bee,” in Focus Under Forty at Rowayton Arts Center. Garbe currently lives and works in Norwalk, CT.
