The Rowayton Art Center kicks off the New Year with an exhibit by art students and instructors, “From the RAC Studio.” This exhibit is all media and open themed; it’s a wonderful showcase of RAC talent. Chaired by Suzy Aubrey, Education Director. Opening reception is Sunday, January 8, (4-6pm). The reception is free and open to the public. Seeing this exhibit might inspire you to discover your genius at a class at RAC. The winter session of classes begins on January 9. Interested in trying to achieve Exhibiting Member status? The Rowayton Arts Center is located at 145 Rowayton Avenue, Rowayton, CT. This exhibition is on view until January 22. RAC’s gallery hours are 11-5 pm, Tuesday through Saturday, Sunday, 1-4 pm. RAC has been a cultural hub for almost 60 years. The RAC Art School offers year-round classes and workshops for creative people of all ages and at all levels. RAC, a not-for-profit organization, underwrites art education programs throughout Norwalk. The Art Gallery and Art School are located on the scenic bank of the Five Mile River.
