New artists are preparing to storm the galleries at the Rowayton Arts Center. Junior Members, new Exhibiting Members, as well as youth artists from the Family & Children’s Agency finally get to turn heads with their work in the upcoming RAC exhibitions. Expect exuberance! It is the premiere exhibit of RAC’s Junior Members.
The Main Gallery will feature the Junior Member Exhibit with work by Leo Gonzalez, who spearheaded the formation of the Junior Membership program in 2014. (The Hour, Sunday, August 23, 2015). Now, finally, they put their talents on display in their very first show. The exhibit also showcases the art by young artists participating in RAC’s outreach program with Norwalk’s Family and Children’s agency.
In the Portside Gallery, artists who have recently achieved Exhibiting Member status will exhibit their work for the first time at RAC.

For over 50 years, the Rowayton Arts Center has been a cultural gem in the community. It is an exceptional gallery where regional artists may exhibit and sell their art as well as a wonderful venue for art workshops and classes. The Art School offers classes to children and adults at all levels. The RAC Gallery and Art School are located on the bank of the scenic Five Mile River in Rowayton, CT at 145 Rowayton Avenue.
