During the 2015 Annual Meeting of the Rowayton Arts Center on June 22, the following people were elected for a two-year term on the RAC Board: Vice President – Kathy Leeds (Rowayton), Secretary – Lynn Julian (Norwalk), Pat Atkin (Darien), Yuko Ike (Darien) and Amy Schott (Wilton) .
Returning for the second year of their terms on the Board are President – Bruce Horan (Stamford), Treasurer – Ana Mernick (Darien), Joanna Bridges (Darien), and Eunice Roy (Rowayton).
The Rowayton Arts Center, which was founded in 1960, strives to create an environment where local and regional artists of all ages and levels of expertise can gather for the purpose of education, exhibition and inspiration. Through its classes, gallery, outreach programs and events, the Arts Center endeavors to promote creativity in the arts and to expand its involvement within the community.
The RAC Gallery is open from 12:00 noon-5:00 p.m. on Tuesday through Saturday and from 1:00- 4:00 p.m. on Sunday and admission is free.
