The Rowayton Arts Center (RAC) announces the selection of eight new exhibiting members, who were chosen by the RAC Selection Committee in January from 25 applicants. They are Veronica Cassell-Vaz (Shelton), Tetiana Chaboryk (Ridgefield), Alyssa Shapiro (Norwalk), Joel Sobelson (Weston), Ann Marie Tetelman (South Salem, NY), Kathryn Warren (Redding), Lisa Morrill Webb (Darien) and Kathleen Scully Weinstock (Darien). In addition, five artists have qualified for exhibiting membership by being juried into three of the six RAC juried exhibits within a two-year period. They are Ishita Bandyo (Branford), Milan Chilla (Rowayton), Jack Robson (Rowayton), Margaret Esme Simon (Greenwich) and Alan Sprules (Rowayton).

For more than 50 years the Rowayton Arts Center (RAC) has been a community cultural hub that provides a welcoming environment for regional artists to exhibit and sell their work, exchange arts-related ideas and participate in classes and workshops for creative people of all ages and at all levels. Located at 145 Rowayton Avenue on the scenic banks of the Five Mile River, admission to the RAC Gallery is free. Winter Gallery hours are 12:00 noon-5:00 p.m. on Tuesday through Saturday.
