Come out and try this simple printmaking technique and explore working with some amazing materials. We will be creating one-of-a-kind prints using Encaustic, an ancient hot wax painting medium. We will then use a combination of painting and drawing materials to enhance our prints, even sewing! Since we will be printing on Encaustiflex, a paper-like microfiber material, we will be able to cut and sew our work into a variety of forms, including books. This is a great way to jump-start your creativity no matter what level your experience.
This is a fun event open to all. RAC will provide the art materials for this workshop. We just ask that you wear clothes that can get messy or wear a smock/apron.
