Paint & Sips are back in the studio! Join RAC Instructor Mari Gyorgyey as she leads participants through a Matisse-inspired painting (seen here). Students are welcome to follow along or paint something of their own.

“Landscape Simplified to Abstraction”
Saturday, September 11
10:30am-4pm
This workshop will focus on abstracting landscapes through exaggeration and simplification. Working with our own photos, plus reproductions of landscape paintings, RAC instructor Lenny Moskowitz will cover the basics of value and color and exploring ways of moving color forwards and backwards to create greater depth. Previous experience is not necessary.

Fall Class Session Open for Registration
While the RAC Summer Session continues through August, it’s time to think about fall. RAC is offering both in studio and online classes for adults and children – register sooner rather than later, as in-studio class sizes are limited to eight students and fill quickly. Visit rowaytonarts.org/education. Pictured here is artwork by Becky Holden, RAC Instructor for “Working with Pastels” this fall. Remember that RAC will also arrange private art classes and parties for groups of six or less. Photography and Sculpture Opening Sunday, August 1
This annual open juried exhibition features almost 70 photographs and sculptures by area artists. The Chair for the exhibition is Joanna Bridges and the Co-chair is Laure Dunne.
