The Rowayton Arts Center (RAC) is once again seeking original, handcrafted works for the annual Holiday Gift Show. We are accepting small ornaments and holiday-related items as well as gift items such as jewelry, pottery and ceramics, candles, wooden toys and items, knitted/crocheted items, fiber art, original cards and small prints/paintings.
New this year – all vendors (members and non-members) must fill out a Vendor Information form, HGS 2022 Inventory form as well as sign up for a time to drop off during receiving.

If you have not participated in our Holiday Gift Show before, you must email sample images with a description of your items by Friday, November 4 to exhibitions@rowaytonarts.org. Accepted or not, you will be notified on or before Wednesday, November 9.

Monday, November 14 (4-7pm) and Tuesday, November 15 (11am-2pm)
Entry Fee:
For RAC Exhibiting Members: Entry fee is waived, membership dues must be current and a commission fee of 40% will be taken on your gross sales.
For RAC Non-Members: Entry fee of $30 and a commission fee of 40% will be taken on your gross sales.
Volunteer Hours: Participants are encouraged to volunteer for a two hour shift during the course of the gift show.

The 6″ x 6″ wood panels are back! All RAC exhibiting members are invited to create original artwork for this annual fundraiser.
Come in and pick up a panel during gallery hours! Tuesday through Friday (12-5pm) and Saturday (10am to 1pm).
Make sure all paint is dry and any collages, mixed media or photos are permanently bonded. Please create directly on the square—no stapling of canvas or recycling of old canvases. No need for wiring or a holiday theme.

RAC Classes and Workshops

Education Update
The Fall II schedule begins this week and will run through mid December. There’s a full line up of in studio and online classes as well as some new offerings, info at rowaytonarts.org/classes.

Fall classes for kids begin this month – there is still space available in our “CLAYtasic” and general art classes for elementary school students as well as in our new skills class for 10-14 year olds. For a full listing, visit rowaytonarts.org/youth-classes-and-workshops.
RAC will also arrange private art classes and parties for all ages in small groups in our studio. Schedule a private weekly art class, a Paint and Sip party or Open Sketch session by contacting RAC Education Director Suzy Aubrey at education@rowaytonarts.org or call 203-866-2744 (x-2).

Ultra Amazing Abstract Still Life Paint Along

Follow along with RAC Instructor Lenny Moskowitz one step at a time to create a playful, colorful still life on a 30″x30″ canvas. Appropriate for new and experienced painters.
