Jeff’s work centers on landscapes created by the interaction of people, buildings, and nature. He’s especially drawn to old neighborhoods and agricultural areas; seemingly timeless places where our constructions, our history and the natural world remain connected.

He’s interested in the way these landscapes serve as the stage for our lives and the way their colors and patterns can create a kind of incidental beauty; beauty as a hopeful, emergent property even when it wasn’t a conscious objective.
