“I have always possessed an affinity to make my surroundings pleasing to the eye. I have discovered that my art allows the exploration of this attraction in a particularly powerful way.” Connecticut based abstract painter Kim Romero’s natural attraction to the relationship between colors and textures is not surprising given her thirty years of preoccupation with interiors, food presentation and garden design. Her paintings grow out of visual personal experience; tactile and painterly pieces that illicit feelings and emotional triggers and connections that bring joy, promote thought and calm the mind.
Kim is represented by Romanoff Elements, Armonk, NY and Sara Nightingale Gallery in Sag Harbor, NY. Her work is in many private collections, both nationally and internationally.
