Do you happen to have a group of children who have “quaranteamed” and are looking for a fun art experience, but don’t feel comfortable coming to our studio? Well, we can bring our studio to you. Our “Art in the Box” private at-home art classes provide an instructor and all the supplies needed for a 1.25 hour art class in the safety of your own home, patio or yard. Groups can choose from the four project categories:
- String art (includes the making of friendship bracelets, projects with hemp cord, beads and gimp)
- Pet rock painting and decorating
- Sensory glitter jar and make your own slime
- Painting on canvases and other substrates
Each private class can accommodate up to six students and costs $225. RAC provides the Instructor and all project supplies. Hosts provide an adequate place for the group to create their art.
Classes can be arranged an the following days and times:
- Mondays: 11am and 2pm
- Tuesdays; 2pm
- Wednesdays: 11am and 4pm
- Fridays: 2pm
RAC’s instructor will arrive 15 minutes before class begins to set up supplies and the project area. Hosts should provide an adequate outdoor work space which generally includes a few tables and chairs as well as mats or cloths to protect the area. Children should dress to get messy.
Contact RAC’s Education Director, Suzy Aubrey to discuss timing and project specifics.
