Connie’s paintings evolve over time in her studio through meditations, music, intuition, adding and subtracting paint, and other materials. Works gradually refine to essential forms, textures, and colors. She is painting her memory of awe-inspiring moments in nature seen in her travels as well as at her home. She likes to think that her resulting rich, textured surfaces create transcendent moments for herself and hopefully for others.
Connie is an award winning artist and has been exhibiting her paintings for more than 25 years. Selected venues include: New Britain Museum of American Art, CT, Marietta/Cobb Museum of Art, GA, Fairleigh Dickinson University, NJ, College of New Rochelle, NY, Equity Gallery, NY. Her work is in the collections of Trumbower Financial Advisers, Bethesda, MD and the Copelouzos Family Art Museum, Greece as well as in many private collections.
