THIS CLASS HAS BEEN CANCELLED.  DENISE WILL BE BACK IN THE FUTURE WITH A ONE DAY WORKSHOP FOCUSED ON FRESCOES.  IF INTERESTED, email education@rowaytonarts.org or call 203-866-2744 (x-2)

In this class, artists will develop a visual awareness and expand their knowledge in working with various mediums targeting their own work.  Students will bring projects already begun or in their beginning stages and we will explore the skills, mediums and applications necessary to realize their project. Using a diverse set of approaches (catering to each individual project) you will be guided through the use of various materials while experimenting and understanding what is best for your work.

There will be critiques so that each student can walk away with a fresh look at their work and be confident in taking the next step in their own individual quest.

This is a great class for students who would like input on how to proceed with a current painting or ideas and guidance on what to paint next.  Denise is a seasoned instructor having taught teens and adults for the past 35 years.  She teaches realism and abstraction and everything in between.  She’s a working artist who has had a number of shows throughout Fairfield county and has published a number of children’s books. Denise is known for her keen eye, her proficiency in a variety of media and her in depth knowledge of art history.

If you would like to discuss your goals prior to registering, you’re welcome to contact Denise via email at mosagi@aol.com

Supply List: Since this class concentrates on each individuals project, students will bring in their own supplies. If additional supplies or tools are needed we will discuss at the first class.
