Since Emi’s art teacher in high school looked at her work and told her ” You will get far as an artist,” art always accompanied Emi in her life. However, the complexities of life led her to pursue a career in law.
After retiring from the practice of the law, Emi started experimenting with acrylic paints and mixed media and the took several courses at the New York School of the Arts, New York Art Students League, School of Art of the Boca Raton Museum of Art in Florida, and classes with the renowned Argentinian artist, Paula Rivero.

Currently she paints intuitively never knowing where the movement of her brushes and palette knives will take her, until she finds the harmony that will be pleasing to her eye and senses.

Emi resides in both Greenwich, Connecticut and Aventura, Florida, where she spends her time furthering her education in the arts, while creating new paintings with spontaneity and curiosity.
