10:30 am - 3:00 pm
Instructor: Lenny Moskowitz
Fee: $170 (incl all supplies)
In this one-day workshop, Instructor Lenny Moskowitz will guide you step-by-step to create a somewhat similar image of this abstract landscape painting. It will be a guided step-by-step class, but it will also be a lesson about the style of art called Abstract Expressionism. Students will be painting on 30″x30″ canvases using acrylic paints, brushes and other mark making tools. All art supplies will be provided by RAC, including the 30″x30″ canvas for each participant.
This class is great for someone wishing to get a little more ambitious with their painting and are looking for ways to scale things up. It’s also appropriate for someone new to painting who is curious and game to paint along. The image we’ll be using is somewhat abstract and lends itself to a variety of possibilities. Everyone’s work will turn out differently, although we’ll all be working from the same reference material.
Note: Artwork by Lenny Moskowitz
