If you wish to paint flowers that look real, but are not stiff and over rendered, this class is for you!
In this 2 day workshop, students will learn how to “draw” using shapes, let color speak as loudly as value, and utilize both brush and palette knife to achieve exciting effects.
The first day, Felicia will paint a demo that students can follow along with in real time. She will also provide an overview of the palette colors and materials. The second day, students have the option of continuing the demo painting or bringing their own reference along to paint a new floral piece.
Paints included in this workshop are Winsor and Newton water mixable oils. You can bring your traditional oils in if you prefer.
