Karen Kent is an artist based in Fairfield, CT. Karen graduated with honors from Lehigh University with a B.A. in Fine Arts and Architecture.
She fell in love with color from her first box of crayons and it remains a constant focal point. Karen frequently uses color to speak to movement, emotion and light in her work. And while she feels she is able to express her heart and soul through painting, she also delivers moments of playfulness that surprise and delight the viewer.
Before becoming a fulltime artist, Kent spent 27 years working in the interior design space, where she was crafting homes with balance through fabric, color, furniture and accessories.
