Kathy studied art in college and has a degree in graphic design from Parsons School of Design, NYC. Along with raising three children, she became an educator, teaching elementary school and art to children and adults.  Kathy has studied the Japanese art of flower arranging for over forty years and has numerous degrees from Sogetsu Ikebana School in Toyko.  This study has influenced her painting and printmaking, especially the last fifteen years. She is an artist guild member of the Silvermine Arts Center, past board member, and is associated with several galleries locally and member of numerous art centers. Kathy has received awards from Catharine Lorillard Wolf Club, Art of the Northeast, New Haven Paint and Clay, Rowayton Arts Center and Connecticut Contemporary Print Center.
