A Michigan native, Melissa graduated from the School of Architecture and Design at the University of Michigan. She says she has been an artist “forever.”
“Presently, my approach to painting is directed by process. It is the visual outcome of both my conscious spirit and my subconscious. Because of my deep love of nature, her elements often manifest themselves through color, light and movement in my compositions.”
