The Hu Lindsay Memorial Award was established in 2016 for the top winner (Best in Show or 1st Place) in the Mixed Media Category for RAC’s annual Abstraction exhibition. This cash prize honors the life of Hu Lindsay, an active exhibiting member for many years and RAC President from 2007 to 2013.

In Memoriam
Nina Pallesen Richardson
Nina Pallesen Richardson passed away on February 8, 2021 just a month shy of her 95th birthday at her daughter and son-in-law’s home in Westminster, Vermont. She had been living well and only entered Hospice care two weeks prior due to complications from a previous surgery. She was an original member of RAC, where she made many friends and enjoyed showing her artwork until just a few years ago. This photo from an article in The Norwalk Hour shows Nina surrounded by her artwork back in 2014, flashing that beautiful smile.
Welcome to RAC Merrilee Main of Milford!!! Next artist selection for new exhibiting members is in late May – check the website for updates.
