Behind the Scenes
Kenya Photo Cards by Marilyn Parker (5 for $10) at the Holiday Gift Show
Inquiring minds were wondering about these cards for a good cause. Exhibiting Member Marilyn Parker said “Proceeds from the purchase of my cards will help Caroline in Kenya to pay school fees for her youngest daughter, Emunah, who will start on Jan 7th. We have known Caroline since 2006, when we were living in a Kenya children’s home. Her parents had died of AIDS a couple of years before then, and she, at 18 years of age, was the head of her family of 6.
My husband, John Parker, and I have been helping young people in Kenya for the past 14 years.”
