Holiday Gift Show

Light Up Rowayton

Sunday, November 26

Rowayton Community Association’s Light Up Rowayton brought a happy crowd to town after the tree lighting in Pinkney Park – thanks to all who shopped our Holiday Gift Show!!!

Holiday Gift Show hours are Tuesday through Friday 12-5pm, Saturday 10am-5pm and Sunday 12-5pm until Christmas Eve (10am-2pm) for last minute shopping. #shoplocal #buyart

RAC Classes and Workshops

January/February Class session is open for registration

There are many new and returning classes for adults, teens and children. (Painting here is by Jill Harrington Nichols who will be teaching a variety of short term online classes this winter.)

Plenty of weekend and evening workshops to keep you entertained this winter!

• Attend our fun “Sip and Suds“ workshop on Thursday, December 14 (6-7pm). Master Suds Maker, Rachel Oshren will teach the craft of DIY bath bomb making while sipping holiday cocktails. Combine this workshop with browsing RAC’s Holiday Gift Show which will stay open late that evening. 
• Meet and learn more about RAC’s new instructor, Evelyn Harvey at a free Art Demonstration on Sunday, January 7 (2:30-4pm).  Afterwards, enjoy the opening of From the RAC Studio RAC’s annual student/teacher art show. 
• Students new to painting or interested in learning how to paint with acrylics, register for Evelyn Harvey’s “Intro to Acrylics“ class on Saturday, January 13 (10am 1pm).
• Register for the first in our series of “ARTechniques” workshops with Lori Lohstoeter and her “Gelli Plate Printmaking” workshop on Thursday, January 18 (6-9pm).
• If color is your thing, register for Jill Harrington Nichols’ “Rhapsody in Color“ workshop on Saturday, January 20 (10am-4pm).

RAC now offers both online classes with Thom Williams and classes in studio with RAC Exhibiting Member Emily Kelting. See the entire schedule here.

Current Exhibition

Now through December 24, 2023

Open Tuesday through Friday (12pm-5pm), Saturday (10am-5pm) and Sunday (12pm-5pm). Closed Mondays. Last day is Christmas Eve, December 24 for last minute shopping! (10am-2pm)

All proceeds from the Holiday Gift Show are used to support RAC

Cash Award: The Hu Lindsay Memorial Award – $250 for the highest prize in Mixed Media.
