Abstraction 2026 Opening

RAC’s Abstraction show is on view now until March 7 only! This annual exhibition features 77 pieces of artwork by Exhibiting Members. Thanks to all who joined us on a freezing cold opening day Sunday, February 8. More info and list of award recipients at the link here.

RAC Classes and Workshops

The March/April Weekly Class Session Begins March 11

Whether you are just beginning your journey into watercolor or you’ve been painting for a while and want to strengthen your skills, this class is designed to meet you right where you are.

Floral Drawing in Pen & Ink with Nancy McTague-Stock

Saturday, March 7 (10:30am-12:30pm)

Learn how to use pen and ink as you work with fresh flowers! There are so many ways to approach florals with this medium, and it is all fun! Think Spring!

Fee: $85 (includes all supplies)

Drawing with Fresh Eyes with Timothy Cronin

Wednesday, March 11 (6:30-8:30pm)

In this class, students will learn to draw more intuitively by slowing down and truly observing what’s in front of them. We’ll focus on seeing shapes, proportions, relationships, and negative space as they actually appear. 

Fee: $60 (includes all supplies)

Large Painting Paint Along with Lenny Moskowitz

Saturday, March 21 (10:30am-3:30pm)

Here’s your chance to paint large! This one-day workshop is an opportunity to paint a 24″x36″ canvas while using this painting as the reference for creating one’s own composition.  

Fee: $190 (incl all supplies)
