RAC Artists Talk
Wednesday, September 10 at 6 pm
The Rowayton Arts Center will present an @RAC Artists Talk on Wednesday, September 10 at 6 pm. This evening of conversation with RAC Exhibiting Member Ben Larrabee will celebrate the publication of his new photography book Trudie: A Portrait. Mindy Green will serve as moderator for the evening. The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.

For nearly 30 years, Ben has photographed Trudie throughout the daily rhythm of their life. These photographs capture what he calls Moments of Grace – fleeting glimpses of life we take for granted but rarely see revealed in photographs.
Ben is part of a new show, RAC Masters, on view September 5 through October 4, 2025. This exhibition is a member-only small group show where each participating artist presents a body of work. Other artists include: Bill Gore, Mindy Green, Ira Hara, Nina Nelson, George Radwan, Barbara Shapiro, Lisa Thoren, Kris Toohey and Carol Young.

RAC will review artwork by local artists interested in becoming exhibiting members on Friday, September 12, 2025. Artists should bring items for consideration to the gallery on Thursday, September 11 from 12 to 5 pm. The artist selection will take place on the morning of Friday, September 12 with notifications sent to accepted artists the following week. Artists should plan on picking up their artwork on Friday, September 12 from 12 to 5 pm or Saturday, September 13 from 10 am to 1 pm.
