In this class you’ll learn the joys and challenges of painting with the palette knife. The knife is more than a tool, it can be the key to unlock your creative freedom—a wonderful way to loosen up. You’ll learn to recognize and enjoy the happy accidents and not fret over the finicky details. You’ll learn how to handle the knife to create different strokes and techniques so you can develop your own style. We’ll be painting from still life and photographs in order to cover a variety of subject matter. You’ll learn by observing painting demonstrations, practice exercises and by individual instruction and guidance.
