The Rowayton Arts Center (RAC) is offering a creative writing workshop, “Art as Inspiration,” an inspired evening of art and writing on Thursday, March 5 from 6:30 pm to 8 pm. Using the current Abstraction exhibition as a portal into creativity, the group will engage in individual and collaborative exercises under the guidance of Drew Lamm. Participants will also have an opportunity to share their writing.
Drew Lamm is a published author, educator, facilitator, mentor and writing muse. She was a classroom teacher who joined The Writing Project at Teacher’s College, Columbia University as aconsultant to train teachers in the art of teaching writing. Drew also taught in the Masters of Writing Program at Manhattanville College. She created Taste Life Twice Writing, ongoing sessions for women willing to touch pens to paper in her home in Rowayton.
