A new show at the Rowayton Arts Center (RAC), “Autumn Juried Show,” is now on view through November 4.  This open theme all media exhibition features artwork by area artists chosen from almost 400 online submissions.

Winners were announced by the judge, Amy Smith-Stewart, Chief Curator at The Aldrich Art Museum.1st Place: Janine Brown, “American Dream” (Mixed Media), 2nd Place: Robert Lansden, “Two Blues #2” (Ink on Paper), 3rd Place: Lisa Freeman, “Wish You Were Here” (Mixed Media) and Honorable Mention: Ginger Jespersen, “Abandoned,” (Mixed Media), Lori Lohstoeter, “Danza” (Mixed Media) and Nina Nelson, “A Moment of Peace” (Photography).

Gallery hours are Tuesday through Friday from 12 to 5 pm plus Saturday from 10 am to 1 pm.

RAC celebrates the study, creation and appreciation of the arts through classes, exhibitions and events open to all in the community. For over 60 years, this nonprofit organization has been a cultural gem in Rowayton, CT.
