A new show at the Rowayton Arts Center (RAC), “In the City,” is on view until June 20, 2021.  This themed exhibition features 70 pieces of artwork by area artists in all media. The Chair for the show is Bruce Horan and the Co-chair is Joel Flora.

Winners were announced by the judge, Amy Simon, owner of Amy Simon Fine Art in Westport, CT: Best in Show: Mark Schiff of Fairfield for “Shanghai” (Watercolor),1st Place: Michael Brennecke of Westport for “Night Lights” (Painting), 2nd Place: Ronnie Gold of Stamford for “Summer in the City” (Painting), 3rd Place: Erin Dolan of Norwalk for “What Remains” (Mixed Media), Honorable Mention: David Kaplan of Greenwich for “Almost” (Photography), Rita Ghandour of Stamford for “Good Morning” (Paper and Acrylic), Norm Jenson of New Canaan for “Holmenkollen Ski Jump, Oslo, Norway” (Photography), Laure Dunne of Norwalk for “Out on the Town” (Photography).
