A new show at the Rowayton Arts Center (RAC), the annual “Autumn Juried Show” will be on view from October 10, 2021 to November 6, 2021. This all media show features over 60 artists from the area.

Winners were announced by the judge Ellen Hackl Fagan: Best in Show: Almudena Fernández Vicens of Riverside, “At the End of the Day” (Monotype), 1st Place: Katherine Draper of Norwalk, “Glitter” (Monotype), 2nd Place: Nancy C. Woodward of Norwalk, “Kate’s Dream II” (Photography), 3rd Place: Margaret Esme Simon of Greenwich, “Henry” (Pastel), Honorable Mention: Max Boyang of Michigan, “Praying Mantis,” (Pen and Ink/Watercolor), Elena Abrahams of Old Greenwich, “Amsterdam,” (Collage/Paint), Tyler Rhind of New Canaan, “Against the Wall” (Photography) and Carol Battin of Stamford, “Meijer Flower” (Photography).

Gallery hours are Tuesday through Friday from 12 to 5 pm and Saturday from 10 am to 1 pm. The Chair for the show is Amy Schott and the Co-chair is Sandy Mills.

RAC celebrates the study, creation and appreciation of the arts through classes, exhibitions and events open to all in the community. For over 60 years, this nonprofit organization has been a cultural gem in Rowayton, CT. The gallery and art school overlook the scenic Five Mile River at 145 Rowayton Avenue with space for regional artists to exhibit their art and a studio for workshops and classes at all levels offered to children and adults.
