Have a group of children, teens or adults who have been “quaranteaming” and are yearning for some art time in our sun lit studio overlooking the Five Mile River?  We’ve got just the option for you.  We can arrange a weekly private class for your group of up to six people age 6+.  You’ll have your own instructor, your own curriculum, tons of fun supplies, and a safe environment where  you and your children can create.  Projects can be based around painting, drawing, collage, printmaking, jewelry making and more.

We can even arrange one time Paint and Sip  or Open Sketch experience if that interests you more.

All classes will be 1.25 hours in length and can accommodate up to six students.  Cost is approx. $200/class,  and will be taught by Nancy McTague-Stock,  Monica Sprei  or Mari Gyorgyey, all of whom are working artists with extensive experience teaching adults, youth and teens. We strongly recommend a four-eight week commitment.

Email Suzy at education@rowaytonarts.org or call 203-866-2744 (x-2) if you’d like to learn more about this option.

A note about Covid compliance:  You can be assured that RAC is doing everything possible to keep its customers and staff safe from the Corona Virus.  Our studio is spacious and airy with excellent air circulation and plenty of room for people to stay safely distanced from one another.  While our studio can easily accommodate up to 20 people, we are only allowing a maximum of six students and one teacher at a time.   Every student will have a table of their own on which to work and will have their own set of supplies.

Students and teachers will have their temperature taken before entry into the classroom.  Everyone will be asked to wear masks and have their hands sanitized before and after every class.  Hand sanitizer will be available at the entrance and exits to the studio and all shared spaces and equipment will be thoroughly disinfected before and after every class.   As always, please do not come to the studio if you are feeling sick or have the following symptoms:  cough, fever, shortness of breath (other than the excitement of seeing us), sudden loss of smell or taste, chills, body aches, or sore throat.
