The juror will select approximately 9 to 12 artists to participate in the RAC Masters Exhibition. The work of all selected artists needs to be framed and wired according to the RAC exhibitions guidelines, except for sculpture. Please consider uniformity in framing and make sure all frames are damage-free, and mattes and glass are clean and free of debris (particularly check any older pieces, they may need a freshening-up).

FAQs:
Can I submit work previously displayed in a RAC exhibition?
Yes, we expect that some of your best work has already been in shows here.
I do oils as well as drawings. Can I submit work in different media?
Yes, but consider that no matter the medium, the work needs to have a consistent point of view.
How old can my pieces be?
We are hoping the work is fairly recent and has been produced within the last 7 years.
What do you mean by a “body of work”?
In short, we are looking for a collection of work that is cohesive in style and point of view, shows growth and progression of thought and expertise (if it’s a more retrospective collection), and represents an accomplished level of execution.
What should my artist statement say?
Writing about your own art means that you are writing from a place of authority.
Be authentic, honest, clear, and fairly brief. Be specific and use simple terminology.
Is there a size limitation for each piece?
No, there is no size limitation as long as all of your work fits in your designated space.
