Theme: This exhibition features realistic art by RAC Exhibiting Members. Photography will not be accepted.

For this exhibition, Realism refers to art that focuses on the truthful, objective and accurate depiction of objects, people and scenes with clarity, accuracy and convincing detail. The goal is not stylization or abstraction, but a faithful and skillful rendering of subjects as they appear in life.

While styles may vary – from tightly rendered detail to painterly realism – the work should demonstrate a commitment to observable truth. Photorealism may be included, but it is not required; interpretation and personal vision are welcome, provided the work remains firmly rooted in representational accuracy.

Note:  This exhibition accepts all 2D media (drawing, painting, traditional printmaking and watercolor) except photography and other methods of digital reproduction.

Cash Award: $100 award for 1st Place.
