Looking for a fun way to cool off and create some pretty amazing works of art? Our air conditioned, fully stocked art studio is the perfect place for kids to learn about and experiment with a variety of different materials and techniques.
This week will be focused on the art of Wayne Thiebaud in an “Edible Popart Camp.” We’ll work to create our own Wayne Thiebaud inspired art using numerous drawing and coloring materials as well as 3-d accoutrements. We’ll focus on drawing pies the first day, ice cream and candy the second and will finish day three with decorating real cakes.
We want participants to have fun and feel this a good place to experiment with their ideas. You can expect your child to come home with 1-2 completed works of art after the three days.
