Traditional In-Studio Open Sketch Sundays are on hold for a bit, but we’re now offering the same great models and format in real time using Zoom as our venue. Per usual, this is a time for artists to get together to draw, paint and/or sculpt the figure. A live model is present at every session, generally in warm-up poses for the first hour or so and then a long pose to give artists an opportunity to work on a more finished piece. In this session, we’ll be focussing on the Portrait.
Letitia, our model, will have her cameras set on her head and shoulders giving the viewer excellent views to draw from. Please have the Zoom app downloaded to your device and become familiar with it prior to joining class. Open Sketch Sundays are open to artists of all abilities ages 16+.
Sessions are generally offered on Sundays twice a month from 11:30am-1:30pm.
