Looking for a fun way to cool off and create some pretty amazing works of art? Our air conditioned, fully stocked art studio is the perfect place for kids to learn about and experiment with a variety of different materials and techniques.
This week the students will focus on puppet making and theatre. This puppet workshop is set up to inspire creativity in its multiple forms of art, as well as its ability to build community. With gentle guidance, the participants will explore how to combine everyone’s individual talents for one final puppet performance. The participants will learn about different kinds of puppet theater and production. They will use what they learn, a variety of available materials and their imaginations to create their own puppets, sets, sound effects and script. The workshop will end with a puppet show for friends and family to watch.
