Join Jessica for a fashionable weekend creating t-shirts with bedazzled necklines. Students will begin by researching looks for inspiration and sketching a variety of ideas. Then Jessica will guide students through the design, sewing and painting processes needed to create a show stopping one-of-a-kind t-shirt — turning a plain old t-shirt into a work of art.
2.5 hours each day, all supplies included. All experience sewing/design levels welcome! ages 7+
Jessica LaRock is an illustrator and fashion designer from Darien, CT. She has studied in London, Boston, NYC and Rome working with a number of fashion houses and design firms. Jessica has developed her own characters and style that can be recognized by fans along the streets and parks of NYC. Her fun, winsome personality engages kids by helping them to build confidence and to see the fun in experimenting with art and creative ideas.
