By definition, an artist sees the world in a unique way, developing their own visual vocabulary through which to express themselves. But, how does an artist most effectively tell their story to others through their work in a way that conveys the breadth and depth of their talent with intention? Drawn from the perspective of a curator, collector, art historian, and juror, the content of this presentation will focus on understanding how to select a body of work that speaks to the viewer, and what factors have meaning to someone looking in from an external perspective.
