John Grieco
Fee: Free, but registration required
Well known Portrait artist, John Grieco, is offering a free class to anyone interested in learning more about the art of Portrait Drawing. John will demonstrate how to work from a chosen photograph. He’ll share his approach to creating a portrait by working with a combination of mass and line. John stresses expressive strokes with an emphasis on understanding the importance of the fundamentals of drawing. Whether you’re new to portrait drawing or a seasoned artist, the class will be right for you.
Note: this class will be taught online using Zoom. Please download and become familiar with the app prior to the start of class. A zoom invite and a photo from which to work will be emailed to you before the start of class. We’ll be working with images of Queen Elizabeth for this class — both color and B&W.
