Looking for a fun way to cool off and create some pretty amazing works of art? Our air conditioned, fully stocked art studio is the perfect place for kids to learn about and experiment with a variety of different materials and techniques. We’ll guide your children through a number of projects that will focus on painting, sculpting, paper mache, collage and more. We want participants to have fun and feel this a good place to experiment with their ideas. You can expect your child to come home with 1-2 completed works of art after the three days.
In this workshop, students will learn about and experiment with all sorts of mediums from inks to distress paints, texture mediums to fabric materials as well as various tools such as brushes, palette knives, even your own fingers and much more. They will also learn how to think “outside the box” by incorporating recycled or everyday household items into their art. The emphasis is on teaching students the various elements of art through joyful use of the varied mediums available to them.
