Frank Bruckmann

Fee: Free

Beloved RAC Instructor, Frank Bruckmann, has just returned from a year long painting sabbatical in Provence and is excited to share all that he learned while away. In this demonstration, Frank will demonstrate how he approaches a seascape painting. He will be painting in oils, but much of his approach applies to acrylic and pastel artists as well.

FYI, Frank will be teaching a weekly class at RAC on Tuesday evenings starting early September and will be teaching a one-day Plein Air workshop at Farm Creek on Saturday, Sept 21.

Hope you can swing by the Demonstration.  Frank will be sure to keep you entertained!

About Frank:  Frank Bruckmann began his studies at the DuCret School of Art in New Jersey and continued with classes at the Art Students League in New York City. In Paris, he studied at the Ecole des Beaux Arts and spent nearly a decade in France and Spain, copying the masters in great museums and painting landscapes in the cities and countryside. Now a resident of New Haven, Bruckmann has found endless subject matter for landscapes in New England but periodically packs his easel and travels farther and wider in his VW camper.
