Oil paints are creamy and luscious and offer the artist an enormous amount of latitude and creativity in their use of the medium.  However, many artists find them intimidating or daunting.  In this workshop, Felicia Feldman will take the mystery out of oil painting and will introduce students to the beauty of working with them.  Oil painting supplies, palette prep and painting techniques will be discussed.  Students will be painting from still life set-ups and should expect to finish one canvas.   This workshop is appropriate for those new to oil paints as well as more experienced oil painters who would like the chance to meet and work with Felicia.

RAC will supply all materials for this workshop, so just come as you are and enjoy the lesson.  A smock or apron is recommended.

And, if you’d like to continue working with Felicia, she will be teaching “Oil Painting” on Fridays at RAC starting in September.
