This class is a continuation of the Intro to Painting class and is open to anyone looking to learn more about various painting techniques.  We’ll be covering watercolor, encaustics, acrylics, oils and pastels as well as some other techniques. The class will cover everything from palette set up and basic supply needs to the principles of color mixing, value studies, paint handling and composition.  Emphasis will be placed on learning to “see” color and form objectively and how to render them in paint.  Students will be working from still life and photographs.  This class is perfect for the beginner or someone looking to gingerly make their way back to painting or for the person interested in learning about various painting techniques.
