This is an open Q&A photography forum for anyone with questions about photography… lenses, cameras, dslr vs mirrorless, applications, software, classes & recommendations. Bring ALL your questions and we’ll try and get you the answers.
This class will be taught online via Zoom. Invites will be sent a day or two before the start of the first class. Students are expected to familiarize themselves with Zoom before the class begins.
About the Instructor: Thom Williams
Thom Williams is a photographic artist currently living in Troy, NY. Thom earned a B.F.A. from SUNY Oswego with studio concentrations in Graphic Design and Photography. He has taken photographs ranging from fashion editorials, portraits, architecture, athletic events and street photography. Whether a gesture, expression, or angle of architecture, Thom is inspired by capturing images not otherwise seen in ordinary moments that can have profound reflective meaning for the viewer. As an artist, he is interested in experimenting digitally with images and more recently in presenting images in a unique multidimensionally way.
His fashion editorials have been published in Saratoga Living, The Muse and Tatoo Envy Magazine among others. Thom’s work can be viewed on TM Williams Photography through Facebook or Instagram. Below is a list of shows participated in.
Teaching at multiple art centers for the past 3 years in person and virtually beginning in 2020 he has found an avenue to share his passion and foster growth for others interested in photography.
