The Hu Lindsay Memorial Award was established in 2016 for the top winner in the Mixed Media Category for RAC’s annual Abstraction exhibition. This cash prize of $250 honors the life of Hu Lindsay, an active exhibiting member for many years and RAC President from 2007 to 2013. Throughout his successful 50-year career as an award-winning graphic designer, Hu continued to create his own artwork. After his retirement, he concentrated on colleges, mixed media artwork and paintings, many of which won awards at regional art venues.
