Join us for an evening of art and writing! Norwalk’s Poet Laureate Bill Hayden will lead participants in an Ekphrastic Poetry Experience, which is poetry written about works of art. In this case, the current RAC exhibition, “Autumn Juried Show” will provide the inspiration.
Writers of all levels will be given time to preview the artwork in the gallery before choosing of one or more pieces to focus on to create poetry. Afterwards, the group will gather to share and discuss the drafts. Anyone wanting to further edit their works are encouraged to contact Bill Hayden for additional assistance.
